Parents rejoice! The awesome people from Waadi Animations have created an original Pakistani animated movie for your children. I'm amazed by the production value and the effort they have made to create an original but interesting story. While there have been some great animated movie for kids so far but none of them have ever featured Pakistanis and so to see something like this makes me ecstatic!
Based in a fictional town in Pakistan, Roshan Basti (Town of Light), eleven year old Amna, Saadi and Kamal set out to save their community from the many evils that plague it. The film is a journey of fighting back, taking charge, and finding support and love in the most improbably of places. Who else is excited to see this?
